Situated amidst the serene waters of Rudrasagar Lake, this palace embodies a unique synthesis of natural beauty and royal imagination. Historically, Neermahal was commissioned by Maharaja Bir Bikram Kishore Manikya Bahadur, the last ruling king of the princely state of Tripura. Construction began in 1930 and was completed in 1938 under the supervision of the British engineering firm Martin & Burn Company.
